Getting his life back together is his goal. As he relaxes on the beach searching for relinquished insight, something happens. This sends Sam into a series of unforgettable events. What others are saying:
"Love the cover; it's what caught my eye. Just finished and really enjoyed it. Liked the characters, plot, and descriptions. Would give it a 4.75* ranking only because the 1st person POV was jarring and distracting (in this particular story), but maybe that's because I'm a female reading a man's "I" so many times during the story. Karlie did a good job of keeping me glued to my chair until I finished the novella. I like short stories and novellas for when reading time is short, especially for doctor/dentist/etc appts. Since there are no partial scores, have to give it a 5* because a 4 is too low! Thanks, Karli, and I would definitely look for works by you again." Jan Taylor - Author
"Short and Sweet
I really loved this story. If you're looking for a quick and enjoyable read - this is it. The story is sweet and engaging. Nothing heavy, just a great story full of emotion. The element of fantasy is artfully captured in these few pages. Ms. Rush writes a colorful tale that is both sweeping and wistful. Great summer beach read." Tara Wood
"Shorty but goody. Super short easy read. Sam goes to stay in seclusion at his sister's, fiance's private home on the ocean. He is opening an art gallery and needs some special pieces to add for opening night. He goes down to the ocean to paint and finds a girl named Jewels. She has come in response to the music playing on his phone. She comes and disappears at random times. Sam is soon obsessed with her. He also will soon come to find out what her secret is and why he is so mesmerized by her. Really cute story that I enjoyed. There are not enough mermaid stories out there.

"As succulent and sweet as the cover. Don't judge a book by it's cover? Well, on this one you can. I was intrigued by the fantastic, artistic cover, and was happy to find 'Seducing a Mermaid's contents to be just as good of quality. I loved the story and how it was told. It was very mystic and seductive, as the mysterious woman Jewels is in the story." Derendrea
