Description

The purpose of this book is to consider seven keys that will help us towards good enjoyable Christian Living; both now and into our futures. We start the book by considering the first key to Christian Living, which is to obtain and understand the vision or calling that God has given to us for the rest of our lives.

Most Christians, who understand what God has called them to do in life, often fair better than those who don't, simply because they have a focus and reason for being here. This key will therefore explore our vision and calling within the Kingdom of God.

The second key to Christian Living relates to standing up for that which is right in life; particularly in the Kingdom of God. This key also includes standing against that which works against the kingdom of God; something we can deal with through the power of pray, as we seek the will and purpose of God in our lives.

In Chapter 3 of this book we will analyse the third key to Christian Living, which is to recognise that God will often use the most unlikely people to bring about his purpose in his kingdom. Rahab the Harlot was the most unlikely person we might have expected God to use to help bring about his purpose relating to Israel; and yet she became part of the ancestral line of Jesus. Therefore, if God can use Rahab he can use anyone; he can use you!

The forth key to Christian Living will analyse how God can use people like us to accomplish his will in the face of the earth. This he does when people need encouraging during times when their circumstances appear to be difficult. Sometimes God will permit difficult circumstances to surround people so that they might look more towards God and change their ways. Today God wants to use you to encourage others who may be going through a difficult time in the Kingdom of God.

The fifth key to Christian Living relates to recognising God's Favor on our lives on a day-to-day basis. Even when our circumstances work against us, from time-to-time, those who recognise that God's Favor is on their lives will, in all probability, enjoy their walk better than those who don't. Therefore this Chapter of the book will analyse the concept of God's Favor in the life of those he loves.

The penultimate key to Christian Living will consider the concept that promotion comes upon those who God has anointed to serve him within his Kingdom. That is, promotion and God's anointing go hand in hand with those God is raising up to become his ambassadors in the face of the earth today.

The final key to Christian Living evaluates the need for God's people to be able to operate under the power and anointing of the Holy Spirit; that is, the baptism in the Holy Spirit. This key also includes how to operate some of the gifts of the Holy Spirit; as was the case with Elisha the prophet in the Old Testament.
