Beauty and the Beast

For Parent's - Here's the complete story, so you can enjoy before purchasing and reading to your children!

Once upon a time there was an irritable and haughty prince.
One day a poor old man came to the prince's castle asking for the prince's hospitality, but the young man, who was in a bad mood, turned the old man down.
The old man, who in reality was a magician, decided to punish the prince and with one spell he turned the prince into a beast with a ferocious appearance.
"From this rose" the magician said, "will fall a petal every year. To liberate yourself from this spell you should obtain the love of someone before the last petal falls."
Many years later, a young woman named Beauty, was riding horseback through the forest
when she was attacked by a pack of wolves.
But the beast leapt from the thicket and confronted the wolves, that after a short fight ran off.
Beauty accompanied the beast to the castle and in thankfulness for rescuing her she
cured a wound caused by the wolves.
At first, the beast's appearance frightened Beauty, but little by little she became accustomed and they became good friends.
During the following days, Beauty and the beast spent a lot of time together, taking long walks.
But finally, Beauty told the Beast that it was time for her to leave, because her family would be looking for her.
The Beast got very sad, but Beauty promised to return. So, he gave her a magic mirror,
so that they could see eachother from a distance.
Beauty left that same day for her house. She was anxious to see her father and her friends.
Beauty's father was happy to see his lost daughter.
Beauty gave him a hug and she promised to tell him of her adventures.
After a few days, Beauty remembered the magic mirror and wanted to see how her friend was doing.
Surprised, she saw that the Beast was very sick.
Without thinking about it, she galloped towards the castle.
Meanwhile, the last petal from the rose was about to fall.
When Beauty arrived, the Beast had fainted and the young woman, desperate, hugged him crying. Then, the last petal fell and the Beast regained his human form.
Beauty and the Beast were married and from that day on, they were never apart.
