Description
Wilde's second book of fairy tales, "A House of Pomegranates", is intended for reading to children but has a message for adults, too. However, Wilde once said that this collection was "intended neither for the British child nor the British public."
"A House of Pomegranates" was published as a second collection for "The Happy Prince and Other Tales" (1888) and it includes the clever but enchanting parody The Fisherman and His Soul.
Other stories included in this collection are as follows: The Young King, The Birthday of the Infanta and The Star-Child.
