"There is no alternative, the dried blood will sustain you. It's not a plump night watchman but it'll keep you alive."

Precious lay in the common wood box lined with graveyard dirt. She clutched the bag of jerky to her heart.

Willard Fein is running for his life. His Baltimore Blood Bank was raided by the cops led by Van Helsing, vampire hunter, Willard hijacks a yellow school bus covered in old hippie flowers and takes of for Los Angeles to start a new life.

Things go well for a time, but eventually the persistent Van Helsing arrives. Then things get tough for Willard again.
