There's nothing new about Houston Detective Steve Smiley being called to investigate a homicide. However, asphyxiation by marijuana smoke is a first.

Smiley finds himself stuck with a temporary senior partner looking to make a fast close on this case. The first likely suspect is arrested. Smiley's gut instinct says they have the wrong guy, but with no help from his partner, can he prove it?
