The continuation of the Eve LaTourneau journey...
After Eve catches her mother Isabelle in a provocative situation with Shawn's father, Mack, she is angered. But mostly because she is confused by her own feelings and is uncomfortable with the whole situation.

Her friends, Danai and Ariko Tongofa convince Eve to travel to Africa and she brings Shawn with her to discuss options for helping to set up a foundation for the polar bears in Churchill.

Eve has not told her friends that she is pregnant, and that Shawn is the baby-daddy.

They arrive to discover that all of Eve's friends are visiting in Africa and the reason is surprising! Eve introduces a mesmerized Shawn to her world in Africa and he learns another secret about her that she has been hiding, not trusting her feelings about Shawn. The night before they return to Canada, Eve's back is miserably sore, and she cannot find a way to relieve the pain before they have to fly out in the morning. Eve's friend Sofía Pérez has an idea, though, a very sensual idea.

She is a journalist with aspirations to become an international investigative reporter who follows international crime and war stories. She is a strong woman who is not in any commitments and she speaks both English and French, allowing her to travel and get along well in many international destinations.
