Description

Calhoun's Bounty - A bullet-ridden man staggered into Stonewall's saloon clutching a gold bar and with his dying breath he named bounty hunter Denver Calhoun as his killer. Although the dead man turned out to be one of the bank-raiding Flynn gang, when the gold bar was offered as bounty on Denver's head every man in town was on the hunt for him.

Denver himself had moved on to Bluff Creek where he joined a high stakes poker game, and when the formerly impoverished Horace Turner wagered a gold bar, Denver reckoned the Flynns had to be behind the gold turning up in the hands of the most unlikely of people.

Despite all the gun-toters on his trail, Denver vows to bring the Flynn gang to justice. But can he succeed now that the bounty hunter has become the hunted?

Calhoun's Justice - On his first day as a deputy town marshal Denver Calhoun made a terrible mistake. He gunned down three men who later turned out to be innocent.

Marshal Yeager covered up the incident, but sixteen years later, after an unblemished career as a bounty hunter, Denver learns that Yeager has been murdered. Denver accepts the assignment of town marshal to track down the killer, but as his deputy is the son of one of the men he shot his troubled past comes back to haunt him.

With the deputy being determined to uncover the truth about his father's death and with it looking as if Yeager's murder is connected to that incident, Denver must find a way to put right his mistake. Only then can he deliver justice to the guilty at the end of a gun.

Calhoun's Stand - When bounty hunter Denver Calhoun defeats a notorious outlaw, Caldwell Wade tries to hire him to kill the sheriff of Stillwater. Denver refuses to take the assignment, so Caldwell sets out to destroy him.

Worse is to come when Sheriff Patton investigates Denver and the outlaw's associates swear vengeance. Denver tries to resolve his problems, but that puts him into the middle of a turf war.

Before long that feud threatens a nearby orphanage, so for the first time in his life the hardened manhunter makes a stand. Denver vows to protect the children, a mission that can only be accomplished at the end of a gun.
