Description
People say when it's your time, you will know. However, they never articulate if it's your time to glow or go. Kennadi is 25 years old and a sad widow from Blueville, Texas. Currently, she is lying on the bathroom floor, clutching her chest at the sound of a car backfiring. Kennadi's husband's cold, lifeless body lay in front of her. Kennadi's eyes are wide; she is gasping for life. Thinking her time is up until a simple touch brings her back to reality. Kennadi was not always like this. She was a sweet church girl- happy, confident, and bold until she earned the town's scold. Kennedy had made one misstep of her own but carried the mistakes of all who came before. It seemed like karma was always knocking on her door. Do you ever try to be the one in the family who tries to do everything in their power to rip that monkey off your family's back, break those generational curses, and set your family free? Kennadi did; she tried to heal propagational wounds, but you have to go through hell. Kennadi found herself running, hiding what was within, but you can't outrun your family's sin. She tried to close the doors, but the skeletons steadily fell out. Kennadi looks in the mirror, but all she sees is doubt. Kennadi finds herself on the bathroom floor. Paper in one hand, knife in the other. Belly full of baby, with no hope to hold her. What does she do, keep fighting, or accept this time she is out of options?
